welcome!

My name's Hannah (she/her) and I make music, theatre, and musical theatre that surprises, delights, and emboldens those listening to chase their own wild ideas.

A collaborator at heart, I'm on a mission to meet other multi-hyphenates passionate about stories centering badass women dead set on creating their own narratives. I'm currently in development of my original work, THE GARDEN: A NEW FOLK MUSICAL at the Tony Award® Winning Children's Theatre Company in my hometown of Minneapolis, MN.

In the manner of mythic, foot-stomping folk musicals such as "Hadestown" and "Once", THE GARDEN rebelliously hands the mic to Eve, empowering her to tell us what really happened beneath the apple tree. Clever, haunting, and exuberant, THE GARDEN defiantly reimagines Eve's first days as a celebration of curiosity and ambition.

When I'm not writing, you can find me with my nose stuck in a murder mystery, practicing mandolin, or searching for the best coffee shop on the Upper West Side.
